Train with Laurent Proulx
Laurent Proulx, CEO of PROCURE and founder of the Tour du Courage PROCURE, gives you the chance to attend his spinning class for free, every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:30 AM. An ideal training method to improve your cardiovascular endurance!

Interval training and intensity variations
The classes will vary in intensity and will include interval training. Laurent suggests the intenstities from 1 to 5:
- Intesity: 1
- Fast pace / wind rapide / wind at your back | Minimal intensity without jumping on the seat (rpm : 100 / 110 / 120)
- Intesity: 2
- Required effort : false flat rising from 2% to 5% | Intensity that must be sustained for 15 minutes.
- Ex: rapidly climbing stairs
- Intesity: 3
- Required effort : 5 % slope rise | Intensity that must be sustained for 10 minutes.
- Ex: climbing stairs 2 at a time
- Intesity: 4
- Required effort : 7-8% slope rise | Intensity that must be sustained for 5 minutes.
- Ex: Last part of Camillien-Houde / climbing stairs 2 at a time with a packsack (5kg)
Required effort : 10% rise + slope | Intensity that must be sustained for 1 to 2 minutes.
Ex: Last part of Camillien-Houde with an acceleration - sprint
