Event at Mount Royal on June 8, 2025

The 16th edition of The Tour of Courage PROCURE will conclude on Sunday, June 8, 2025, with the CLIMB CHALLENGE at Mount Royal Park in Montreal. All cyclists, their families and supporters are invited!

Participants who registered for the Option B - Climb challenge or the Option C - Combined challenges will accomplish the number of climbs they chose when registering for the event.

EVENT SCHEDULE

DATE: Sunday, June 8, 2025

PLACE: Mount Royal Park in Montreal

WHERE TO PARK? Maison Smith parking lot, at Mount Royal Park (1260 Chem. Remembrance, Montréal, QC H3G 1A4) $ paid parking

6:15 a.m.: Arrival of cyclists. Please check in at the reception tent when you arrive. (Maison Smith)

6:45 a.m.: Welcome speech and safety instructions (Stationnement du Mont-Royal, terrain 118)

7:00 a.m.: Closure of the Camillien-Houde road to traffic

7:00 a.m.: Official start team by team – PLEASE NOTE: This year, the start will be at the bottom of the hill near Maison Smith, and not at the summit of Camillien-Houde as in previous years.

7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: Challenge of 3, 6, 9, 12 or 18 climbs

10:30 a.m.: End of the Climb Challenge

10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Entertainment and activities in the event village (PROCURE Lottery draw, music performance by the Break Syndical group, children's games, etc.)

10:45 a.m.: Lunch offered by our partners Scores, Allô mon Coco, and Groupe MTY. Pick up your lunch voucher at the reception tent.

11:00 a.m.: Closing ceremony, raffles and awards, and photos

12:00 p.m.: Reopening of Voie Camillien-Houde to vehicle traffic

1:30 p.m.: End of the event

NEW: PROCURE EVENT VILLAGE

This year, an event village will be set up next to Maison Smith to welcome all our Tour of Courage and Walk of Courage PROCURE participants. This will be the main rallying point where the closing ceremony and lunch service will take place. You'll also find a host of activities for the whole family: giant games for all ages, face painting for children, a musical performance, a photobooth area, and more.

CLOSING CEREMONY

The Tour of Courage closing ceremony will be held after the Climb Challenge at 11:00 a.m. on the stage located in the event village. We will draw the winners of the $3,000 Bottecchia bike and the VIP experience for the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, and we will award the TDC Cup and the Yellow Jersey to the team and participant who raised the most donations during the campaign.

LUNCH

Lunch is included for all registered cyclists. Pick up your lunch voucher at the reception tent. Lunch will be served from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Additional lunch vouchers for guests: $15/person (payable by credit card only, no cash or Interac machines). Available for purchase at the reception tent from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.


USEFUL INFORMATION

Jersey: Don't forget to wear your official Tour of Courage PROCURE 2025 cycling jersey to this event.

Weather: The event will take place rain or shine. We suggest monitoring the weather forecast to adjust your clothing accordingly and bringing sunscreen if needed.

Water: We will have gallons of water on site. Please bring your reusable bottle.

Refuelling: We will provide you with everything you need to help you complete your challenge (bars, gels, electrolytes, fruit), provided free of charge by our partner Krono Nutrition. The refuelling station will be located on the climb near the turnaround, on the Côte-des-Neiges side.

Mechanical assistance: Basic and emergency mechanical assistance will be provided by our partner Bicycles Quilicot between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., at the same location as the refuelling station.

Cheer Zone: A cheer zone at the Belvédère Camillien-Houde will be accessible to cyclists' friends and family who want to watch the challenge and cheer them on the climbs. (The lookout is accessible on foot only, via the Chemin Olmsted trail or on Voie Camillien-Houde).


GETTING TO MOUNT ROYAL PARK


BY CAR (PARKING)

There are four paid parking areas in Mount Royal Park: two to the west, near the Lac-aux-Castors pavilion, and two to the east, near the Maison Smith. The closest parking lot to the event is the Maison Smith House Lot 117 (1260 Remembrance Road, Montreal, QC H3G 1A4).

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Mount Royal Park is easily accessible by public transit. Visit the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) website for schedules and to plan your trip.

BUS:

*Strike by STM maintenance employees from June 9th to 17th: Bus and metro schedules are restricted. Get informed and plan your trips accordingly. More information here*
