Event at Mount Royal on June 16, 2024

The 15th edition of The Tour of Courage PROCURE will conclude on Sunday, June 16, 2024, with the CLIMB CHALLENGE at Mount Royal Park. All cyclists, their families and supporters are invited!

Participants who have chosen to register for the Option B - Climb challenge or the Option C - Combined challenges will have to complete the number of climbs they chose when registering for the event.

A closing ceremony will be held during which we will draw the Bottecchia bike worth $4,500 and award the TDC Cup and Yellow Jersey to the team and participant who raised the most donations during the campaign.

EVENT SCHEDULE

Date: Sunday, June 16, 2024
Place: Mount Royal Park
Where to park? Maison Smith parking lot, at Mount Royal Park (11088 Chem. Remembrance, Montréal, QC H3H 1A1) ($ paid parking)

6:30 a.m.: Closure of the Camillien-Houde road to traffic (After 6:30 a.m., you will have to go up by car via Remembrance Road)
6:30 a.m.: Welcome of participants and distribution of lunch coupons (Maison Smith parking lot)
6:45 a.m.: Welcome speech and safety instructions (Summit of the Camillien-Houde road)
7:00 a.m.: Departure of the 15th edition (Summit of the Camillien-Houde road)
7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: Challenge of 3, 6, 9, 12 or 18 climbs
10:30 a.m.: End of the Climb Challenge
10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Closing ceremony, raffles and awards (bike, TDC cup, yellow jersey, participation prizes) and photos (Belvédère Camillien-Houde)
11:00 a.m. : Lunch service offered by the MTY Group
12:00 p.m.
: End of the event
12:30 p.m.: Reopening of Camillien-Houde road to car traffic


USEFUL INFORMATION

Jersey: Don't forget to wear your official Tour of Courage PROCURE 2024 jersey during this event.

Weather: The event will take place rain or shine. We suggest that you follow the weather forecast to adjust your clothing accordingly and bring your sunscreen if necessary.

Water: We will have gallons of water on site. Please plan to bring your own reusable bottle.

Supplies: We will provide you with everything you need to eat and drink to allow you to complete your challenge (water, juice, energy drink, bars, gummies, fruit, etc.)

Mount Royal Park is easily accessible by public transit. The following transit lines have routes that pass near the meeting point. See the route

METRO: The nearest metro station is Atwater, on the Green line.

BY CAR (PARKING)

There are 4 paid parking lots in Mount Royal Park: two to the west, near the Lac-aux-Castors pavilion, and two to the east, near the Smith house. If you plan to come by car, please note that parking may be difficult. Several sites on Mount Royal are under construction and therefore places are greatly reduced.
